May 4th, 2024 - checkin at 9am, birding starts at 10am
Participants will compete to spot the largest number of different species of birds in a single day without leaving the downtown neighborhoods of Beacon Hill, Charlestown, Chinatown, Downtown, the Leather District, the North End, and the West End - including the Common and the Public Garden. Registrants will receive a checklist at registration at Copp's Hill. Checklists must be turned to the registration table by 4:00pm. Winner will be announced at 4:35!
Participation
All are welcome to participate. You must first sign up for an account on this site and then register for the event to participate.
What to expect
The event will be based at Copp's Hill Terrace in the North End. Participants must check in at Copp's Hill Terrace prior to starting their day. Organizers will provided participants with a checklist and a pencil. Check in will begin at 9:00 am.
