Big Day Boston 2024 is in the books! What a great day. The weather cooperated, a variety of Warblers were in town, 30+ t-shirts were made, and everyone had a splendid time!
Big Day Boston 2023 is in the books! We had 113 participants from (at least) five states and collectively observed over 78 species - all within the confines of Downtown Boston.
And the winner is... Massachusetts-based birder Ingrid Messbauer!
May 4th, 2024 - checkin at 9am, birding starts at 10am
Participants will compete to spot the largest number of different species of birds in a single day without leaving the downtown neighborhoods of Beacon Hill, Charlestown, Chinatown, Downtown, the Leather District, the North End, and the West End - including the Common and the Public Garden. See Map:
